PORTAL.easystream now includes support for SRT encoders

With PORTAL.easystream, LOGIC has developed a workflow that maps the complete media supply chain for HD/UHD streaming in AWS. With an update, PORTAL.easystream now also supports SRT encoders. PORTAL.easystream is part of PORTAL Technology, which provides front ends and solutions for media workflows in the cloud under the umbrella of the PORTAL Framework. In addition to the AWS Elemental Link HD/UHD hardware, encoders from other manufacturers can now also be used, which generate an SRT stream that is in turn codec agnostic.

As before, the complete workflow, all streams and components can be centrally managed and controlled via the PORTAL UI. The user logs into the PORTAL UI and finds all the information he needs to connect his SRT encoder. The PORTAL.easystream complete solution opens up completely new possibilities for media houses, production companies and other companies, even those "far away from the media", to stream HD/UHD signals via the cloud. Streaming costs only arise for the time of use and processed data volumes, without subscription models - quasi HD/UHD streaming in a pay-as-you-go model.
