Docker/Podman and Kubernetes? Heard of them before, but what are they actually?

LOGIC media solutions has further strengthened its expertise in the knowledge areas surrounding containerization and container orchestration with four official certificates of competence. "We are always committed to further training our employees and expanding the level of knowledge in our company," says Christophe Bingemer, Managing Director LOGIC. LOGIC sees several advantages in the expanded expertise in containerization for its own PORTAL framework and also in projects with customers who are already using Kubernetes. Especially cloud applications, which are becoming more and more widespread, rely on containerization with the use of microservices. Other products from partner companies that LOGIC already uses today are also based on techniques from the Docker and Kubernetes environment. This means, for example, that AWS infrastructures can also be established not only in the cloud, but also hybrid.
