Your tasks

Strategic development of delivery

• Further development of the delivery portfolio with a focus on streaming, OTT, and hybrid distribution channels
• Design of solutions for video-on-demand, live streaming, and online video platforms
• Development of hybrid workflows that combine classic broadcast distribution channels with IP-based distribution solutions
• Evaluation and integration of new technologies for encoding, transcoding, and adaptive streaming processes

Solution architecture and technology

• Development of reference architectures for encoding, distribution, and analytics solutions
• Responsibility for codec and protocol issues in the delivery environment
• Design of monitoring and quality assurance solutions along the delivery chain
• Integration of monetization and content protection workflows
• Integration of analysis and reporting solutions

Project and customer work

• Technical management of complex delivery projects from conception to commissioning
• Product owner role in development projects related to online video platforms
• Technical consulting in presales and support in preparing quotations and tenders
• Supporting proof-of-concepts and pilot projects
• Technical contact for customers at the decision-maker level

Cloud, innovation, and collaboration

• Further development of cloud-based delivery solutions, ideally in the AWS environment
• Evaluation and implementation of CDN and edge delivery concepts
• Collaboration with adjacent value streams and internal teams
• Documentation of best practices and knowledge transfer
• Technical representation of LOGIC at industry events

What you should bring

• Several years of experience in video distribution, streaming, or broadcast delivery
• Project experience in the design and implementation of OTT or streaming platforms
• Very good understanding of video codecs, streaming protocols, and encoding workflows
• Experience with online video platforms and content delivery networks
• Knowledge of classic broadcast distribution channels is an advantage
• Cloud knowledge, especially in the field of streaming and media services, is desirable
• Understanding of monetization models and ad insertion technologies
• Structured approach to work, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
• Very good German and English skills
